Viva La Verve November Week 4 Recap and Viewfinder

Viva la Verve - November Week 4 Sketch!

Hello Verve fans, Marisa here recapping Maureen's fabulous Week 4 sketch, our last sketch for November, and shining a spotlight on a few creations that caught my eye in the gallery this week.

We'll have 4 November challenges... play along with us and link each of your challenge creations to our Entry Form link list. The link list will be up for the whole month and we'll choose a random winner at the end of the month to win a $100 gift voucher to Verve. Challenge rules can be found on the Rules tab at the top of the blog or by clicking here. You don't have to complete all of the sketches to win, but the more cards you enter, the greater your odds of winning. Verve stamps are not required to play, but we do love to see 'em!  We'll also be highlighting a couple of our favorite link-ups each Tuesday, so be sure to get your links in if you're crafting over the weekend.

Here is the Week 4 sketch....

Here is my take on Maureen's sketch.

Maureen's sketch screamed snowflakes when I saw the circle clusters and I gleefully went with it.  After all, snowflakes are my accessory of choice this time of year {grin}.

The sentiment is from Christmas in the Air, and since it had the word heart in it, I carried the theme over on to the little tab from the Flag It die set, by adding a row of punched hearts.  Glad snowflakes come in any colour when you are crafting :)  A touch of bling on the snowflakes, a twine bow and a little row of piercing to balance things off.

Here are a few beautiful cards I spied in the link-up this week...

Amy's wonderful, vintage creation uses Up, Up and Away and I adore her use of metalwork.

Love Lea's neutral pallet and how she incorporated the burlap, vellum and sparkle on her card.

Heather did a fabulous job combining, Text Notes (retired), Strong Anchor and Better Together on her nautical card.
